| Obverse description | The elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Mehmed VI occupies the central field, surrounded by a wreath of olive and laurel branches tied at the base with a ribbon, their tips curving upward to frame the device. A row of seven six-pointed stars arcs across the upper field above the tughra. The regnal year numeral appears below the tughra within the wreath, and the denomination 250 is inscribed in Arabic numerals at the lower rim within the wreath. The coin's reeded border is visible at the periphery. |
