A large central circular vignette, encircled by the bank name legend "BANCO NACIONAL ULTRAMARINO", contains an allegorical female figure seated beside a tall-masted sailing ship. Denomination numerals "2500" appear at left and right within elaborate guilloche borders, with ornate floral and rosette cornerpieces, and the printer's imprint at the foot. |
