| Reverse description | Central device depicts a tall palm tree rising from a stylised rising sun with radiating rays, the entire motif enclosed within a crescent-shaped emblem derived from the coat of arms of Biafra. The crescent opens upward, its two curved horns framing the central design on either side. The legend 'PEACE·UNITY·FREEDOM' is inscribed along the lower periphery in raised Latin lettering. The design closely echoes the original Biafran national emblem as used during 1967–1970. |
