| Obverse description | The national arms of Antigua and Barbuda displayed centrally, comprising a shield bearing a rising sun above waves and a fortified gateway, supported by two deer rampant on either side, surmounted by a pineapple crest, and with a scroll below inscribed EACH ENDEAVOURING ALL ACHIEVING. The circumferential legend ANTIGUA & BARBUDA INDEPENDENCE NOVEMBER 1981 arcs around the upper field. The date 1982 and the denomination 30 DOLLARS appear in the lower field beneath the arms. |
