Obverse description Gold foil non-circulating note issued to commemorate Antiguan independence in November 1981, with all design elements executed in relief against a dark background. The central vignette presents a panoramic coastal landscape with rolling hills and shoreline rendered in embossed gold, flanked by oval medallions: the national coat of arms to the left and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II to the right. The denomination "30" appears in ornamental corner cartouches, with a signature line for the Minister of Finance and decorative guilloche borders framing the lower legend.

Reverse description The reverse is executed entirely in embossed gold foil on a dark ground, with the central rectangular vignette occupied by two highly detailed relief images of iguanas — one perched on a branch amid tropical foliage and another rendered in close profile — labelled "Iguana" within the field. Corner pieces bear the numeral "30" within shield and oval cartouches, while decorative floral and foliate borders run along all four sides beneath the issuer legend and above the denomination panel.
