Obverse description At center, the two Chinese characters 吉祥 (Auspiciousness) are rendered in a bold, stylized form against an intricately engraved ground of traditional Chinese auspicious motifs, including cloud scrolls and floral lattice patterns. The square central perforation, measuring 6×6 mm, is framed by continuous decorative borders characteristic of classical Chinese cash-coin iconography. The circular legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs along the upper periphery, with the year date 2025 positioned in the lower field. The overall design combines ancient coin aesthetics with modern fine-gold craftsmanship, presented in proof quality with selective color application.
