| Reverse description | Central field presents a majestic frontal effigy of Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu deity, seated in a cross-legged posture upon a decorated plinth. The four-armed figure is shown holding a lotus blossom and a vessel in the upper hands, with the lower hands extended in gestures of benediction and offering; the deity is adorned with elaborate jewelry, bangles, and draped garments rendered in exceptional high relief. A radiant halo of stylized rays emanates from behind the head, itself crowned with an ornate diadem. The composition is flanked by richly carved temple columns with torch finials, and smaller devotional figurines occupy the lower lateral fields. The legend GANESH appears in the lower exergue in bold Roman lettering, while intricate scrollwork and floral motifs fill the border, all executed with antique-finish surface treatment enhancing the sculptural depth. |

| Additional information |
Cameroon has issued legal tender coins through the Monnaie de Paris and various private minting houses for decades, but this denomination — 3,000 Francs CFA — has no practical circulation function. The CFA franc zone, governed by the Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale, sets no such face value in everyday use. These issues exist purely for the numismatic export market, with Cameroon licensing its sovereign authority to mint houses targeting collectors in Europe and Asia.
Ganesh, the Hindu deity, has no historical or cultural connection to Cameroon, whose population is predominantly Christian and Muslim. The pairing reflects a commercial decision to target Indian and Southeast Asian collector demographics rather than any domestic significance.
