Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of King George V facing left, engraved by Bertram Mackennal, wearing imperial state crown and military uniform with decorations visible at the truncation. The circumferential legend reads GEORGE V KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA in raised Latin capitals, framed by a beaded border.
