| Reverse description | Completely blank and unworked reverse, characteristic of a monoface trial or uniface pattern strike. The flat field shows the natural surface of the copper flan with no design, legend, or device of any kind, consistent with its status as a single-sided experimental strike produced to test die alignment or planchet characteristics. |

| Additional information |
Pattern coinage from the Casa de Moneda rarely surfaces with documented trial strike provenance, and monoface pieces — struck on one face only, often to test die alignment or planchet feed — were almost never preserved outside official archives. The "Type 2" designation in Poliquin's reference system distinguishes a second die iteration, implying at least one earlier rejection or modification during the approval process.
Copper trial pieces of this weight class were frequently struck on undersized or irregular planchets pulled directly from rolling mill output before blanking was standardized.
