Obverse description Left-facing crowned effigy of King George V, modeled by E.B. MacKennal, depicted in uniform with ermine-trimmed collar and wearing the Imperial State Crown, enclosed within a raised beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend reads GEORGE V KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA, with the engraver's initials B.M. appearing below the truncation. The date is positioned at the base of the design, flanked by raised dots, between the beaded circle and the toothed outer rim.

Reverse description The large numeral '5' above the word CENTS occupies the centre of an inner beaded circle within the plain field, presenting the denomination in bold relief. The circular legend BRITISH HONDURAS is distributed around the outer field, with 'BRITISH' arching across the top and 'HONDURAS' along the lower arc, each separated from the denomination by a floral ornament at either side. A secondary beaded circle borders the central device, while a toothed rim runs along the outer edge of the coin.
