| Obverse description | Central design features two circular emblems side by side: the seal of the Central Bank of Kuwait depicting a traditional dhow, and the state emblem of Kuwait featuring a falcon. These are surrounded by a circular legend in Arabic reading the full name of the Central Bank of Kuwait, with the English legend CENTRAL BANK OF KUWAIT arcing along the lower portion of the inner ring. The outer border carries an Arabic inscription commemorating the 55th Anniversary of the National Day of the State of Kuwait, interspersed with decorative geometric motifs evoking traditional Kuwaiti architectural patterns.
