| Obverse description | The obverse of this three-dimensional spherical coin features a central recessed circular medallion set against the sculpted globe surface, displaying the Arms of Barbados in finely engraved detail: a shield supported by a dolphin to the left and a pelican to the right, surmounted by a helmet and two crossed sugar canes, with a scroll below bearing the national motto. The legend BARBADOS arcs above the arms, flanked by the date 20 and 20 at either side of the shield. Below the arms, the denomination 5 DOLLARS is inscribed, with the fineness notation 3 oz Ag 999 appearing in the lower field of the medallion.
