| Obverse description | The arms of Barbados rendered in high relief occupy the left portion of the rectangular flan, featuring the national coat of arms with its shield supported by a dolphin dexter and a pelican sinister, surmounted by a bearded fig tree and a crossed pair of sugarcane stalks as crest. A scroll at the base bears the national motto PRIDE AND INDUSTRY.
