Obverse description Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief against a split field — the left half in contrasting dark background, the right half in polished gold-plated finish — conveying a dramatic chiaroscuro effect. The portrait is bare-headed, showing the King in a formal collar, and bears the engraver's initials DT at the lower right of the bust. The circular legend reads CHARLES III · 2026 · SOLOMON ISLANDS along the upper periphery, with the denomination $5 prominently displayed at the base of the field, flanked by the inscriptions 2 oz to the left and Ag 999 to the right.

Reverse description Central device depicting a highly stylised ancient Egyptian winged scarab beetle rendered in bold relief, with the body and wings coloured in deep cobalt blue enamel against a gold-plated field. The scarab's outstretched wings are richly detailed with feathered plumage and decorative lotus and fan motifs in blue and gold. A large faceted red zirconia crystal is inlaid at the centre-top, held within an ornate bezel surmounting the wings, while a second clear zirconia crystal is set at the base beneath the scarab's body. The surrounding field features radiating reeded lines interspersed with repeating miniature scarab motifs in low relief, evoking the aesthetic of ancient Egyptian amulet jewellery.
