Additional information

Bermuda's fishing-themed bullion program occupies a niche well outside the mainstream sovereign gold market. The Blue Marlin issue targets collectors drawn to the island's reputation as a premier Atlantic sport-fishing destination — blue marlin have been recorded in Bermudian waters since at least the mid-twentieth century, and the island hosts one of the longest-running billfish tournaments in the region.

At 1.56 g of .9999 fine gold, this is a fractional piece aligned with the one-tenth troy ounce neighborhood but not exactly conforming to it — a deliberate choice that keeps the series proprietary rather than interchangeable with standard fractional bullion.
