| Obverse description | The full achievement of the Barbados Coat of Arms occupies the upper portion of the rectangular field, rendered in high relief with antique finish, depicting a bearded fig tree on the shield flanked by a dolphin and a pelican as supporters, surmounted by crossed tridents and a scroll bearing the national motto. The legend BARBADOS appears in raised letters along the upper border, while the date 2021 and denomination 5 DOLLARS are inscribed in the lower field, beneath which the fineness specifications 1oz and Ag .999 are engraved. |
