Reverse description Central device depicts the Brian Boru harp, the traditional symbol of Ireland, rendered in fine detail against a polished proof field. Twelve five-pointed stars form a ring around the inner border, referencing the European Union motif. The inscription 'éire' arcs along the lower left and the date '2004' appears along the lower right, flanking the harp within the star circle. The design closely replicates the reverse type of Irish euro coinage as a fantasy issue.
