Additional information

Hutt River Province — formally the Province of Hutt River — was a self-declared micronation in Western Australia founded by Leonard Casley in 1970 after a dispute with the Australian government over wheat production quotas. Casley eventually styled himself Prince Leonard I. The province issued its own stamps, passports, and currency, none of which held legal tender status outside its own borders.

The "Buck Ewing" designation on this piece almost certainly refers to a promotional or commemorative issue rather than a circulating denomination — Hutt River's coinage served primarily as novelty exports and tourist souvenirs.
