| Reverse description | Highly detailed portrait of the celebrated Portuguese singer Simone de Oliveira in old age, occupying the right portion of the field, rendered with fine sculptural relief emphasizing the character and expression of the subject's face. Stylized flowing hair fills the left portion of the field in an elegant, decorative manner, incorporating a subtle fado-inspired motif. The legend 'SIMONE DE OLIVEIRA' arcs along the upper rim in incuse lettering, while 'PORTUGAL 2025' is inscribed along the lower rim. |

| Additional information |
Simone de Oliveira, born in 1938, became one of Portugal's most enduring popular music figures through her association with the Eurovision Song Contest — she represented the country in 1965 with "Sol de Inverno" and again in 1969 with "Desfolhada Portuguesa," making her one of the few artists to compete twice for Portugal in that competition's early decades. The 2025 INCM commemorative series honoring living cultural figures has been issued in strictly limited gold strikes, with mintage numbers that typically fall well below 1,000 pieces for the gold tier.
