Reverse description A detailed frontal depiction of the Ishtar Gate of ancient Babylon occupies the central field, rendered in low relief with its characteristic crenellated towers and decorative animal reliefs — including the sirrush (dragon) and aurochs — visible on the gate's facade. The monumental gateway is shown with its imposing twin towers flanking an arched central passage, set upon a stepped base. The dual dating legend appears above the gate, with the Hijri year '١٤٠٢هـ' to the right and the Gregorian year '١٩٨٢م' to the left, arcing along the upper scalloped rim. The composition fills the scalloped flan effectively, with the plain exergue below the gate structure providing visual balance.
