Obverse description The Czechoslovak state arms comprising a rampant lion to the left bearing the Slovak quartered shield on its breast, rendered in a bold Art Deco style. The national legend REPUBLIKA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ encircles the design along the rim, with the date of issue appearing at the base of the legend, separated by small raised dots. A fine beaded border frames the entire composition.
