| Obverse description | The Bulgarian state coat of arms in a circular vignette at top centre, set within an elaborate dark violet guilloche border with ornamental corner devices and large numeral "5" at each lateral margin. The central field carries the bank name and denomination in bold Cyrillic letterpress, with a pink-toned guilloche underprint of rosette motifs. Two facsimile signatures appear below the denomination, with a legal warning cartouche at the foot. |
