| Obverse description | At center, the national coat of arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan is depicted in high relief: a shield bearing an eight-pointed star with a flame device at its center, flanked at the base by crossed oak and wheat branches. The legend AZƏRBAYCAN RESPUBLİKASI arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 MANAT appears in the lower exergue. The design is rendered in proof finish with a deeply mirrored field contrasting against the frosted relief elements. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a richly detailed commemorative composition celebrating the liberation of Lachin. At left, the medieval Melik Ajdar Mausoleum is depicted in textured relief against a background of radiating lines. The right half of the field features traditional Karabakh carpet geometric motifs rendered in fine engraving. In the lower center, the numeral 8 appears prominently alongside a stylized rendering of Ophrys caucasica (a native orchid species) and the word NOYABR (November), referencing the date of liberation. The legend LAÇIN arcs above, and QARABAĞ AZƏRBAYCANDİR! (Karabakh is Azerbaijan!) is inscribed along the lower border. The border is decorated with a continuous interlocking ornamental band derived from Azerbaijani carpet design. |
