| Obverse description | Issued under the Ley de 1.° de Octubre de 1860, this note bears the heading REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA within a typeset frame, with the serial number in the upper left and the denomination numeral 5 in both upper and lower right corners. The body text, handwritten and typeset in Spanish, records the obligation of the Tesorería General to pay five pesos with monthly interest at one percent, with a maturity date filled in manuscript. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot, attributed to El Ministro de Hacienda and El Contador General, beneath printed title designations. |
