| Obverse description | The upper centre carries the arms of Honduras rendered as a triangular device surmounted by an eye of providence above a landscape, encircled by the legend ESTADO DE HONDURAS and surrounded by radiating sunbeams. Ornate foliate cornerpieces frame all four sides, with an oval cartouche bearing treasury text to the left and the denomination inscription VALE CINCO PESOS below. The lower portion presents three manuscript signature lines above their respective printed role titles, flanked by the decree inscription, with a large black wax seal applied over the central text area. |
