Reverse description The central device presents a detailed high-relief depiction of La Iglesia (The Church), a multi-tiered Maya temple structure at Chichén Itzá, rendered with fine stonework detail including its ornate Chenes-style roof comb and deeply recessed doorway. To the left of the temple in the field appears the denomination $5, while to the right the mint mark Mo and the commemorative date 070707 (7th July 2007, marking the declaration of Chichén Itzá as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World) are inscribed. The legend CHICHÉN ITZÁ curves along the upper border, and LA IGLESIA appears along the lower border in bold lettering. The proof surfaces feature deeply mirrored fields that contrast sharply with the frosted architectural relief.
