Obverse description The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring the traditional escutcheon with a key, rising sun, and royal palm tree, flanked by an oak branch on the left and a laurel branch on the right, surmounted by the Phrygian cap above a fasces. The legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs along the upper periphery.
