| Reverse description | The reverse features a large, centrally placed oak tree with a broad, leafy canopy rendered in fine relief, its trunk rising from a base of crossed olive branches tied at the foot. The denomination 5 Ps. appears prominently across the lower trunk of the tree. Surrounding the central device is a circular arrangement of nine five-pointed stars interspersed with floral ornaments. The patriotic motto DIOS UNION LIBERTAD arcs around the upper and lateral field, with the date 15 DE SET. 1821 inscribed along the lower arc and the fineness 0.900 at the lower right, all within a milled border. |
