| Obverse description | Olive-green note with a bilingual French and Arabic heading at top and numeral 5 in each upper corner, above a panoramic vignette of Beirut harbour set against a complex guilloche underprint in rose and olive tones. The central text block carries the reimbursement clause in French and Arabic, followed by the date 'BEYROUTH le 1er Juillet 1920' and a serial number space. Two manuscript signature lines at the lower portion are reserved for the Administrateur Délégué and Le Directeur. |
