| Reverse description | Central recessed panel depicts a pride of lions (Panthera leo) in a naturalistic savanna setting: a standing male lion with full mane is visible at rear right, while a lioness reclines at left nursing or attending to several cubs in the foreground, with an acacia tree rendered in the background. The Latin binomial legend 'PANTHERA LEO' arcs along the upper periphery, and the denomination '5 RAND' is inscribed along the lower border beneath the central design panel. |

| Additional information |
Venda has not existed as a political entity since 1994, when it was reincorporated into South Africa at the end of the apartheid-era homeland system. Any coin bearing its name issued in 2019 is a privately produced fantasy piece — not a government-authorized legal tender issue — almost certainly struck for the collector novelty market with no monetary authority behind it whatsoever.
