Reverse description Brown intaglio print on a predominantly red-brown underprint, with a large circular watermark space at left. The central vignette presents a detailed scenic view of the Thuparama Dagoba stupa in Anuradhapura, set among trees with figures in the foreground, and industrial structures visible to the right. Denomination numerals '5' appear in the upper corners within ornate cartouches, with Sinhalese and Tamil script inscriptions along the lower border.
