| Reverse description | The reverse is entirely occupied by the Shiite Kalima rendered in flowing Nasta'liq-style Arabic calligraphy across the full coin field, naming the Islamic profession of faith and the Twelve Imams of Twelver Shia Islam. The inscription fills the flan in dense, overlapping script characteristic of Safavid religious coinage. The edge is irregularly chipped, consistent with a large hammered silver host coin. No counterstamp is present on this face. |
