Comments

Teller training notes issued by the Bank of China were produced for internal use — circulated among bank staff to practice counting, sorting, and authentication procedures without risking live currency. The Baoding Securities Branch, part of the state printing infrastructure, produced these alongside genuine security paper stock, which gives them legitimate production credentials even though they were never intended as legal tender.

Collector interest in these is relatively recent. Because they were treated as disposable training materials, survival rates are uneven.
