| Obverse description | Left-facing draped and uniformed bust of Yuan Shikai, President of the Republic of China, depicted in military attire with a visible epaulette at the truncation. A curved legend in Chinese characters arcs across the upper field, reading 中華民國六年造 (Zhonghua Minguo Year 6 Made), arranged around the portrait. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial features, including a short moustache and beard, and a closely cropped head. The field is plain, and the design is enclosed within a reeded border. |
