| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into two distinct decorative zones by an ornate floral border frame. The left field features a detailed depiction of Pha That Luang, the iconic gilded Buddhist stupa of Vientiane, rendered in fine relief within a recessed panel. The right field displays naturalistic spruce branches bearing pine cones in high relief against a mirror-polished background.
