Reverse description The reverse features a detailed high-relief depiction of the Dormition Cathedral of Lykhny (Нанҳәа иазку Лых-ныха), a medieval Georgian-Abkhazian church dating to the 9th–10th centuries, rendered in three-quarter perspective view occupying the central field. The cathedral is shown with its characteristic stone masonry construction, a central drum and cupola surmounted by a cross, and a prominent narthex porch to the left. Two decorative six-pointed star motifs flank the cathedral in the left and right fields. The Abkhaz-language legend 'НАНҲӘА ИАЗКУ ЛЫХ-НЫХА' curves along the upper portion of the coin, and the dating inscription 'ІХ-Х ашǝ.' (9th–10th century) appears in the lower field.
