| Obverse description | The upper right of the obverse carries the Royal Spanish crown above the Havana and Spanish coats of arms, both resting upon two terrestrial globes, flanked by a caduceus with ruler and compass to the right and a cornucopia to the left. The face value appears in numerals in the upper and lower left corners, in words at center, and in decorative underprint stripes along the top and bottom borders, with the issuer name at upper left and the place and date of issue at center right. A black series letter appears at center right and a red serial number at lower right. |
