| Obverse description | Dark blue intaglio print on pale yellow underprint. A central oval vignette presents the allegorical figure of Liberty seated, holding a staff in her raised right hand with a shield at her side, set against an elaborate guilloche background. Denomination numerals '50' appear in large format to the left and right of the vignette, with the series letter and date 'LIMA, 3 DE MAYO DE 1935' inscribed in the lower left, and the printer's imprint 'Carlos Fabbri S.A. Lima' in a panel at the foot of the note. |

The bank title arcs across the top of the central vignette, and a two-line legal text inscription appears at the foot of the design. The printer's imprint 'Carlos Fabbri S.A. Lima' is present at the bottom margin. |
