| Obverse description | A circular vignette at left contains a three-quarter bust of Minerva in helmet, facing right, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The denomination CINQUANTE CENTIMES is printed in large bold letterpress to the right, beneath the issuer's name, with a serial number and two manuscript signatures below, attributed to Le Directeur Général and Le Caissier Général. The entire design is framed by a decorative guilloche border with floral corner ornaments. |
