This is almost certainly a fantasy or novelty piece produced for the souvenir and collector market, coinciding with the rising momentum of the Catalan independence movement during that period — the informal consultation vote on independence was held in November 2014. Such items have no legal tender status and were never sanctioned by any recognized monetary authority.
