| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown on a light guilloche underprint of interlocking geometric motifs. At upper left, the denomination '50 CENTS' appears in bold numerals, with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe circular vignette — bearing the Zimbabwe Bird at centre — positioned below. The issuer title 'RESERVE BANK OF ZIMBABWE' runs along the top, followed by the bearer cheque legend in the centre panel with the denomination spelled out in large letterpress text, the expiry date, and the issue date. The Governor's signature with the title 'Dr. G Gono, Governor' is printed to the lower left, and serial numbers appear at lower centre and lower right. |
