Additional information

Hadrian's Wall was begun around 122 AD following a visit by the emperor himself to Britain — one of the few times a reigning emperor toured the northern frontier in person. Construction took roughly six years and involved three legions. The Solomon Islands has no historical connection to Rome or Britain, but has issued commemorative pieces under licensed programs for decades, with the royal portrait providing the nominal issuing authority tie to the Crown.
