| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago centered in the field, depicting a shield charged with a sailing ship and other heraldic devices, supported on the left by an ibis and on the right by a hummingbird, both with wings displayed. Above the shield rises a helm surmounted by a coconut palm flanked by two hummingbirds in flight. A scroll at the base of the supporters bears the national motto as the legend encircling the lower field. The Franklin Mint mintmark appears in the lower field below the arms. |
