| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Belize occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield displaying crossed tools and a sailing ship, flanked by two bare-chested woodcutter supporters, each bearing an axe or paddle over the shoulder. A mahogany tree surmounts the shield as a crest, and a scroll below bears the national motto SUB UMBRA FLOREO.
