| Obverse description | Within a central silver field framed by an ornate floral cartouche, a color-applied scene depicts the Kuwait Towers and the Grand Mosque flanked by flagpoles flying the national flag of Kuwait in full color (green, white, red, and black). The numeral '50' appears prominently in the lower left of the central vignette, flanked by the date in both Arabic and Latin scripts reading '25 February 2011'. The gilt border surrounding the cartouche carries a curved Arabic legend along the upper arc and the English inscription 'The 50th Anniversary of the National Day of the State of Kuwait' running along the lower arc. |
