Disney Dollars were discontinued in May 2016, replaced entirely by Disney gift cards. Any note dated 2025 does not exist within the actual Disney Dollars program and cannot be a genuine issue. The series ran from 1987 to 2016, printed by the American Bank Note Company and later by other security printers, and was redeemable at Disney parks and stores at face value in US dollars. No 50-denomination Disney Dollar was ever produced in the official series — denominations were limited to $1, $5, $10, and from 2005 onward, $50 did not enter production.
