Obverse description Central device comprises a palm tree, a dromedary camel, and a traditional dhow sailing on the sea, all enclosed within an inner circle. The toothed rim is surrounded by a trilingual legend in Tigrinya (Ge'ez script), English, and Arabic, with the country name 'Eritrea' rendered in each language separated by star ornaments.
