Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic legend in calligraphic script arranged centrally within the field, reading 'May he be victorious, struck in Constantinople, 1336.' The inscription is fully enclosed by a wreath of olive and laurel branches tied at the base, mirroring the obverse design. A small five-pointed star appears at the top of the wreath above the legend. The AH date 1336 (corresponding to 1917-1918 CE) is prominently featured at the foot of the inscription. The overall design is typical of the Constantinople Mint's output for late Ottoman gold denominations.
