| Obverse description | Intaglio portrait of Juan Manuel Gálvez D., founder of the national banking system, occupies the right half of the note against a multicolour guilloche underprint, with a vignette of the BANADESA building at far right. At centre, a colour-shifting optically variable numeral «50» is set within a rectangular frame, accompanied by a ghost watermark image of a pre-Columbian sculptural head in teal tones. Three facsimile signatures appear below the date, with the issuer's name in bold letterpress across the top and the denomination in large letters along the lower border. |
