This is a pattern strike — a proposed design submitted for evaluation but never adopted for circulation. Denmark's 50 øre denomination went through several design trials during the 1980s before the Royal Danish Mint settled on final production types, and rejected patterns from this period rarely escaped the mint in significant numbers. SIEG GP 32 / KM Pr46 places this squarely among a documented but sparsely distributed group of official proofings.
